All right, the Globemaster has a wingspan of 171 feet. Our modern aircraft carriers are only about 250 foot wide at its widest point and over three football fields long and with our new arresting system aC17 could takeoff from an aircraft carrier as long as there was enough room for its swings span because the arresting system is not an old steam system. It’s electronic far more advanced than our old steam systems so it would only come down to enough room for the wings to clear everything
