Fun doesn't justify doing this type of thing. You shouldn't have to do this crazy tish for kids to eat a meal. You same people will see Africans or other people eating with their hands from the same pot and you'll call them savages.

There’s no waste here. Whatever isn’t eaten gets used for more “traditional” meals. Potato pancakes, potato bread, Latkes, dumplings, etc. Use your imagination, people. It makes life so much more interesting, and helps children open their minds to imagination. Stop with the nay-saying and start looking for the good in things. You’ll find life so much more enjoyable.
