only the severely indoctrinated, uneducated and/or completely ignorant believe that the minimum wage should be able to finance a family of four with a home, two cars and a couple weeks vacation each year to Disneyland. sane citizens realize this is only the first step in a progression, of a career path, we should eventually end in a job position that pays more than the minimum wage and can finance those things you wish to have. increasing minimum wage to something ridiculous like $50, would mean that everything else goes up at least that much, if not more. that means your rent, utilities, food, and everybody else's pay goes up the same amount, leaving you with the same situation. The stupidity of our citizens never ceases to amaze me.
