Why didn't anyone catch the end that exposes a lie she says in the beginning. She said she had prearranged splitting the bill with the restaurant but in the end the head waiter said it was all on one bill. She's suffering from buyer's remorse after seeing the bill and tried to get out of. My theory is that they don't really like her but was misled into a free dinner because miss birthday girl wanted to feel special with a lot of people. Hell, Trump pays for people to come to his rallies and in most cases doesn't even pay the city for their services.

Alex, just don't want to split the bill because that's always an option. I used to wait at a five-star restaurant here in Las Vegas at Lawry's prime rib and that option was always available. she should have asked for the manager.

When I go out with my friends, we get separate checks. I don't order a lot, don't drink, and would never ever chip in to pay for their extravagance. She should just put the amount she actually owes, including taxes and tip, then get up and leave. They can split the rest of the bill among themselves. They don't sound like true friends by the way they're arguing with her.

I've been invited out by friends to eat and when they said they would pay for me. I would always be considerate on how much the food was. Just because someone says they'll pay for you. Doesn't mean you have to go all out because you're not paying.
$516 is not a lot for a group. But everybody have to be on the same understanding from the beginning. I can’t go out with people like that but she’s young so I kinda understand what she’s saying especially if you’re not a drinker and everyone else’s drinking, but she signed up for it. I’m sure she knew from the beginning.

When my best friend & I go out we split the bill. We order about the same priced meals. My friend will pay for her wine because I don't drink. Never a problem in 29+ years. Maybe it's unspoken respect.
