I looked this up for y'all... This image shows a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of a city destruction scene inspired by the movie Inception. A miniature city model is used instead of purely digital effects, allowing for practical physical manipulation during filming. The scene is captured within a green screen studio to facilitate digital compositing later. The technique relies on a 1:4 scale miniature street, which is tilted and rigged to create the folding city effect. Filming involves real camera operators capturing the destruction as it happens in real-time.

They used to make movies this way with models like this. However, it's way way to expensive to do today so they now all use CGI and AI to create these remotes of scenes. I once met a guy that used to work making these models, he was a brilliant artist and engineer. They just don't make them like they used to. Its why I like watching the OLD movies as I know an artist special effects engineer worked his ass off to make it look real.👍🙏👍🙏

So, AI creating fake videos of a fake movie during a fake production in a fake (fake) environment?? We’re doomed.

Who remembers Edmund Bacon's HO scale layout of Central Philadelphia. It would turn over different points of the Center City to show the improvements he was planning during a presentation. I saw it as a kid in the early 60's at the Commercial museum which is now torn down and part of Penn health in University City. Note, He was Kevin's Dad. It was neat to watch all the turned over pieces return at one time to their original positions for the next presentation. for instance it was his planning commission that designed the Vine Street expressway. He had the same idea for South Street but that didn't fly.

I'm thinking it's from the movie "2012" starring John Cussack.

Looks like A studio in San Francisco where Tim Burtons Movie Jack Skeleton was being created with various Stalls built for A specific shot using figures slow animation I/10 scales for each shot. Very intriguing to see it.
