Banana peels have turned black, shrunk & literally turned into nothing within 2 weeks in my garage as a test we did as kids. Can't remember what time of year it was though.

I probably swept up a pound of cigarette butts a day at Hardee. I smoked, always carried a portable closable ash tray. Didn’t particularly like smoking , but better than smoking pot, drinking alchol or popping pills. At times I used water filters for cigarettes. I really didn’t like litterbugs, but especially smoldering cigarette butts that caused so much fire destruction. You ever see the walls in a house with 2 or more chain smokers. Yechy do! Gross. Ceilings collect most of the crap in the smoke. Hate to tell you, E- cigarettes are just st as bad, if not worse, in the stuff deposited in your lungs. So don’t think E- cigarettes are safer in any way- because I have swept up a lot of E- cigarette boxes.. I would say that E-cigarettes are even easier to get addicted to, and even worse ingredients to litter pollution.
