hospital and police should be held accountable.
Just from the information here, I think the hospital is primarily responsible, because they told police that she was trespassing and, likely told them that she was being dramatic or a hypochondriac. The police did not make matters any better. My opinion only.
I remember the story. It’s shameful!
this is sad, hope the responsible parties are held responsible
I bet that the hospital didn't do the proper procedures to find out exactly what was wrong with her.
They (hospital), probably wanted to get rid of her cause she couldn't pay her share of her bill.
what do you expect? she's an American We don't help are own,Duhh
Ignorant cops and hospital staff . People know when there’s something wrong with them.
this is in my area where I work at. the hospital was sued and the police were too... the family won the law suit
Even him pulling her hair like that, when she was already in distress..Smh, Sad & Sickening. Help them Lord!!
sick, poor, uninsured? yeah that's punishable by death in a country that now apparently wants to rule the world.
Hospital should be sued!!
This is heartbreaking
Make all accountable
😡 I'm livid! That poor lady! She suffered! I see a lawsuit! Go for it, Iady! 🤨
This is the HOSPITAL’S FAULT, so why try to blame it on the cops? Because it’s convenient ?
That’s because it’s in Tennessee. Republicans don’t give a damn about you if you’re poor
I hope she had family and the sue them all!! They deserve it
Those cops should be responsible for her funeral. Oh, and fired!
she ate and drank and smoked herself to death. hospital cant treat her forever and she was trespassed.
this is so sad..... happening in this country
Shame I hope their families are never treated like that
This is what happens when capitalism takes over, and humanity is forgotten because money only matters.
This reminds me of a man that was being disorderly on the streets of Boston. The police took him to the hospital and told the staff that he was drunk. Not one of the staff attended to the man. All because the police told them that he was drunk. When they were finished looking after everyone, then they attended yo him by this time it was too late. The man was diabetic, and had an episode due to his illness. I cannot remember the name of the episode. But, thank Jehovah he survived but was partially disabled.
Hospital s/b sued!
that's mess up
Her family is suing hospital and police they laid her on the side walk said she smells and sprayed her with Lysol they treated her like she was trash it made ashamed to say I lived in Tennessee
Blount memorial Hospital released her and she went to Fort Sanders and then they treated her like crap and because she wouldn’t leave they can’t the police and then the police treated her like crap
I saw the full video I think on YouTube. The way this woman was treated was a damned disgrace. She was clearly in some medical distress.
I would SUE the police and the Hospital for EVERYTHING THEY HAD AND WILL EVER GET OR HOPE TO MAKE !!!!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
😳😳 they all need to be fired, the hospital staff and police
Fired that guy
That is absolutely a horrible that something like that would happen. And then making fun. I hope they all feel guilty. If not, they need to feel guilty.😪
They call it "treat em and street em.". Unfortunately, it's a common practice with the homeless, particularly when they come to the ED often. Sad.
Shame on the hospital , she knew her body 🙏🏼
this is so sad and so fucked up 😭
its a shame no one listen to her
Hospital is responsible
Just inhumane treatment
that's murder
sad
🥺🥺🥺
omg
🥺
Wow
The hospital is responsible. The police are not responsible. The hospital discharged the woman and then called the police. How can you blame police?
this literally happened in Georgia I believe. the hospital treated her like that because she was not a resident. she flew in to visit her daughter, and this literally was not the first hospital she went to. I believe she was out of New Jersey. I'm doing this by memory of when the story was brand new. she never got to see her daughter. this happened a couple of years ago I don't know if there was any settlement or anything from it. but it was all because she was not a resident of Georgia. Alabama will do the same thing to you too. Florida will do this to a resident but they won't do it too a non-resident. Florida free kill laws applies only to Florida residents. there wasn't even any news that somebody in the hospital got fired. once the cops figured out that the hospital had lied they made the hospital take her back in. but by then it was too late. the most heartbreaking thing was the guy behind her complaining that she was interrupting the Lord's day because this was a Sunday.
thats not police irresponsibility that's doctor neglect but prolly doesn't show she was rude and all that and why the doctors cleared her
They lifted her head up by pulling her by the head of her hair. Charges, serious charges should be brought against hospital & EMS, cops.
our health system is ridiculous it's all about the money. prayers for this lady and her family 😭
I saw this I realized cops shouldn't have all the blame but they could've been alittle more compassionate about it the hospital should be sued such a mess
Now because this officer didn'tfeel as i she was really sick caused her death? So SADAnd SO TRAGIC🥺😭
The people at the hospital need to lose their license and go to jail for allowing this to even happen
AND WHO'SRESPONSIBLEFOR THIS HOMICIDE?🥺
And that hospital out of business her family deserve every single dime. If the air doctors nurse or anything like the ones I work with they did that on purpose.
they treated her like that because she was homeless. She was on hospital grounds stuck in a wheelchair because she couldn't walk due to a broken ankle. Yet they treated her like unwanted garbage. I have seen the full available footage of her initial encounter with the cops all the way until they discovered her deceased in the back seat of a police vehicle.
I was done like this before thank God my son showed or I would have died from not being able to breath. he too me to another hospital.
why was he pulling her hair,it's a special place in HELL for those type of people 😡😡
Should not of cries woof so many times. It’s her own fault. Been to the hospital 3 dozen times past year
All should be held liable for her death.
When she had her hand out for help, I broke 😭😭😭
why is the hospital discharging her, she is still sick? sounds like the hospital is responsible.
why don't we just really listen and not assume. rule out before you throw out. 😲🤔
She traveled from out of town to go to that specific hospital. she had had a stroke. Her ankle was broke. They kicked her out of the ER saying she was seen and released. She was trying to be independent. Those sorry cops mocked her. Arrested her because she couldn't get off the ground! Plopped her in the cop car and watched her unable to sit back up. The horrifying video of her begging the cops to please help her sit up because she couldn't breathe laying down. They stood right outside and told her to sit herself up. She sat in the back alone and it took little time for her to stop breathing! Cops just standing right outside mocking her and standing around. Her adult children didn't know she had traveled there to go to that particular hospital (i think they took VA patients.) They were devastated but in time found out the truth!! This happened up to 2 years ago. I hope they make a massive example out of the hospital and cops!!!🥺
