well not really unless you tear up the structure under the concrete she could possibly have it floated but I thought you had to go to court and have a judge settle it for you to be able to destroy property because she has attempted to make a payment and if she feels that your job is crap and it's not what she wanted she can refuse payment so therefore you need to take her to court I don't know I could be wrong it could be different in different states but what do I know

Was one beautifully poured driveway, so smooth and tidy. No one is going to want to fix her driveway after this ( they'll see how it was broken up and how it was done while still damp/wet ), well not without getting the payment up front ( in cash preferably) just to be safe. That's right! I will report any job that is not paid for by a costumer. My company offers payment plans and will do everything in your power to help your costumers however if they refuse to pay I will and have done this same thing.

my neighbor has done this to every single contractor that comes thru her home. she's the worst human I've ever met. and her out of control dog has bitten many of them n they still stay until she stops paying. I swear instead of Angie's list there needs to be a list of people that don't pay n try to find any reason not to
bobby has em beat... bobby was an independent contractor, and I was one of his laborers. we got hired to put in a patio on a very high end house, and the homeowners lawyer showed up while we were stamping a stone texture into it. lawyer took pictures and did a whole spiel about how we'd be held liable if it was damaged and that we weren't going to be paid because it was substandard work, and parted with a haughty "good luck in court". bobby told us to take a break and left... he came back an hour later with 15 bags of water softener salt and we proceeded to stamp 3/4 tons of rock salt into that patio... it looked good, probably looked good for a year or three, but I know damned well it ain't there today.
