Before there were cell phones it was only house phones, & the closest person to the phone answered it. If the call wasn’t for you then you simply said “Hold on” In committed relationships the cell phones should be treated just like the house phone was treated back in the day. Where did this invasion of my privacy mumbo jumbo come from? It came from u hiding something, that’s where it came from! Even back then you could be have two numbers so then u would know if the call wasn’t for u or not. Why you can not answer the phone while in a serious relationship? In my view, if you can't take your partner's call, it's as if you are in the relationship alone. Recall the days when we only had house phones and no cell phones. In a genuine relationship, you could answer the house phone regardless of the caller's gender. Does hearing a male or female voice mean you need to become upset or aggressive? Absolutely not, the opposite sex can be friends. If someone can't accept this, it indicates they are not ready to commit to one person. If you realize that someone cannot commit to one person, you need to consider your own life choices.
