I did Uber eats & got a text from the driver saying, "i picked up your food, I'll deliver it once you tip more" I text back with, "I tipped $5 on a $5 drink. I'm not tipping more & no longer want my drink. I'm glad you picked it up, enjoy it cause NOW that drink is your tip!" I've waited tables & been a bartender for over 20 years, I've never asked for a tip! the balls on people today blows my mind🤯💯

tips are based on service.... a tip comes after the service is provided. the app has an option to tip after the food is delivered...u should never tip on a service before receiving the service. im sure this will get comments and mostly from a younger demographic

TIPS ARE NOT MANDATORY, PEOPLE! It's a bonus of you get one, but it's not a requirement. I am a Spark driver, and I do deliveries where sometimes, there is little to no tip. Guess what? I still do my job with a smile on my face and a thank you for my customers. You never know if someone is on a fixed income, if they are going through hardships or health issues, and maybe that delivery amount is all that they could afford at that moment. Have a bit of grace instead of being just another petty human being 🙏🌸💕

We the people are Not Obligated to tip period,we tip if we can afford it. I don't understand why people that get jobs that depend on tips think you must be tipped. I couldn't have a job like that because it's not a guarantee you'll be tipped. But I do show appreciation when I can afford it. I have 7 children and before we leave a restaurant I make sure the table is cleaned up and no food on the floor under our table, because that's what real momma's do clean up behind their children. To me that's better than leaving a tip. Because I dislike going somewhere and see people children or their parents leave a table nasty or the floor.

Tipping is and has always been optional. If you don't like the money you're making, find another job. Your employer duped you into believing that the community was supposed to pay you, when in fact your employer is the one who should be paying you a living wage.
