The standard engines on the F2 2 are capable of producing approximately 35,000 pounds that thrust each however there has been rumors circulating that some of these engines are now producing 40,000 pounds of thrust each which would put them right about Mach 3 And possibly higher in the right flight pattern
Oh, they’re not replacing the A-10 with that they’re actually upgrading the A-10 and extending its service life, which we do to just about everything that we have that is extremely successful, including the F-15 now it’s the F15 EX! Just another plane that we have that is never been shot down faster than the F3 5 can carry more bombs, then the F3 5 or many other aircraft for that matter and you can still excel has Mach 2 .5 to Mach 2.8 is the only fighter we have that can actually stay close to an F 22“ can only go 2.25 but like the f111 it can go a lot faster than anyone we admit! The F111 after it was serviced, and being returned back to the front line by the mechanics, they would often turn off. The safety systems would show up with freshly burnt paint and sensors that melted because a plane was going so fast.! Personally, our newest F22 with all the updates, including the new engines, and all new electronics and sensors are capable of closing in on Mach 3 .
