we lived in Newfoundland my mom would always put a bottle of Scotch in the mailbox for the snow plow guys we never had any issues with the driveway getting plowed in😆

I find that so annoying I clear the driveway snow to the sides so as to not get a ticket from DSNY for shoveling into the street, so that I can get out in any emergency and then DSNY comes along & covers tie driveway with snow
winter of 78-79 was the worst on I could remember. They plowed a single lane down the roadway that was the enter/exit for the subdivision. Didn't plow it straight. So if you got half way through and had an oncoming car someone had to back up. The drift towered over the cars. Kind of spooky.
See it all the time here in Lake Tahoe too. Makes me furious that they get away with it and then we get tickets if we throw it into the street.

you know I worked snow removal in Idaho falls for 34 winners. we always had someone go behind the plows for the back home clean the driveways out. but we'd dump it on the sidewalk LOL what are you do with it if you can't pick it up and pack it away. hell I grew up in Minnesota in northern Minnesota during the winter nobody ever cleaned the end of our driveway out LOL
Lived in MA and know exactly how this feels! Thanks to all snow plow drivers. Swear they wait around the corner and watch until you are just about finished.

I have seen that before . Plus a few times when I was a teen shoveling snow for 50cents a hr . This happened . And the owner of that long side walk and drive way would not give us any more . So we fixed him the jerk . One huge pile of snow infront of his garage doors . Real high .
