If your child is making things up to avoid school, you need to ask them and yourself why. Are they being bullied? Are they failing? Is one particular teacher picking on them? Are they smarter than the other kids and are bored? Are they having a hard time making friends? There are lots of reasons a kid doesn't want to go to school. You need to figure out why.
