Use your grandma's cast iron pan or skillet. Add some oil and heat up. Before adding the egg, sprinkle (and I mean sprinkle) flour in the oil. That keeps the egg from sticking. I saw my famiky do this all the time in their little restaurant. I am 74 and I have no need for special non- stick pans. Always regulate the temp so your food is easy to manage while cooking.

I just put a little butter in the pan put the egg in then sprinkle a tablespoon of water around it and it doesn't stick .
