When I was a kid, we played outside. Only time we were parked in front of the TV was to watch a TV show. Can't remember name of it, but main character was Barnabas Collins. When, it was over, back outside. Had woods, lake, hills for sledding, pond for skating. Loved my neighborhood. 😲💕
did this back in the 1950s. it was fun and if we fell out we must got up brushed of the gravel and did it again.
my mom beat my ass when we did that as kids butt I really think she beat me because my sister fell out and became the breaks. I miss her really I do. 😎

oh my gosh! this brings back memories! I had two friends when I was about 7 years old back in the late 1960s, and we used to hop in my radio flyer red wagon and ride down the hill just like this. best childhood ever!
I grew up on a hill...plenty of scraped knees doing this! Fun times!

Man, I remember we lived in Simi Valley. I think I probably wasn’t like kindergarten because I remember it one of those big wooden spools and my brother‘s sisters put us little kids in there. I think there was a bar across like a metal bar and they would roll us till we hit something. We thought it was fun now that I looked back at it and it really wasn’t a good idea.
