Unfortunately, customers can definitely be this way. I run a certain shop, and being rushed to do a good job is very common. I can give you your keys back, but it’s missing the doors on both sides. You’ll be unhappy if we rush the job, or if you get it back now. You were told from the beginning, it is an estimated date it will be ready, not a promise. That’s just how it works.

But when you tell the customer the wrong thing about a car, that’s no big deal. Went in for an oil change once and the stupid girl behind the counter thought I was dropping it off when I said I was waiting for it. Two hours later went to check on it and she said she did know I was waiting. I was sitting in that damn waiting room for two hours! And they still haven’t touched the car.
