A student training for a high-skill profession, raising a child, working, and trying to finish school needs childcare to stay in the workforce pipeline. That support isn’t a handout. It’s an investment so parents can work, study, and become long-term contributors instead of dropping out. Cutting off childcare support doesn’t prevent fraud. It prevents education, employment, and upward mobility, and it costs society far more in the long run.
