Proper way is to put the colander in the sink and dump the pasta in it to drain the water! This is stupid!
It's NOT genius or a hack. She poured out all the Pasta water & didn't save any.
Stop pointing your finger it’s rude !!!
what's with the waving finger, that's getting a little obnoxious
And if the colander slips or you get scalded by the steam and drop it, you’d be dumping the pasta down the drain
You did not invent something new and it is not a hack .
Hope she saved a cup of the cooked pasta water to help thicken any sauce she might be making.
I have a different definition of genius
Same difference!
The girl is gorgeous
cooking dyslexia?
Duh!!!!! What a genius.....Not
wasting pasta water. what'sa matta , you!??
12" equals 1'.... just drain the pasta reserving some water for thickening the dish.... something like that 😊
WTH? How is that a hack?
I'll stay with pouring .pasta into. the colander. I don't have one that fits like that for my pot if I did I would still use it the traditional way.
Wtf so she drains the water. She needs to hang out elsewhere
No, its stupid
FYI- that is FAR FROM GENIUS 😆 just everyday skills and COMMON SENSE!
Why get rid of that water? Starch is a good adhesive for pasta sauce and it also seals in the flavor. That's like getting rid of the water in homemade beans.
Misti do you have any kids?
Different or opposite doesn't mean genius. This ain't! 😂😂
thanks
Good, so now instead of cooling off a bit, it can dry out and stick to itself and the pot. Brilliant.
As you scald your self from the steam comming from the boiling water.
And you still dirty to items 🤷🏼♀️
Nice newbies!!
