That is a hand raised squirrel. a wild one is no where that calm, they will scream and fight to get away, but this one isn't afraid because its a pet. I use to have 3 myself that I raised and if I had squirrels before cats I would never have owned cats. squirrels and ferris are wonderful pets you just can't let them around wires they like to chew stuff especially wires why I dont know. I had squirrels for years and ferris for 11 yesrs. I was told by my vet that they were really old that they normally dont pass 8 years, but I was lucky I had them that long, they died 2 days apart. they loved each other so much it was sweet. their names were Hamlet n Ophela. go figure.
