Why why do is??
Gross! Not to mention it's a great way to mess up your tattoo and lose ink out of it. The old fashioned way is best. Tattoo artist cleans it and puts A&D on it. Do NOT bandage it at all. For the first 2-3 days, keep clean and then use A&D. Then keep clean but don't put anything on it. It will dry out/scab up/look dull. DON'T PICK AT THE SCAB or you'll ruin your ink. When it naturally falls off, your tattoo will be healed and vibrant.

I know when I got my sons tattoo touched up mine had a bit of ink but not too much so I took a tooth pick and popped it but I didn’t peel it or anything… I knew I shouldn’t have but I just had too it was just there
