If he doesn't understand the value and time of EVERY part of childCARE, BEING a mother, prep and cooking, changing linens, laundry- wash- dry- fold- put away, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and keeping things tidied up.... ...then perhaps she should go online and get the cost of each individual task or job per hour, and total it up. Edith had to do it to Archie Bunker, on All in the Family! Then I saw a video where a woman did what the fictional Edith did in real life, because her husband said she was, "Just a stay-at-home-mom!" Turned out, if he had to pay her for all the stuff she did for their family, she'd take almost his entire salary. LESSON: Don't ever tell a woman she's just a stay-at-home-mom or housewife. She'll itemize her work, show her worth, and write you a bill!
