All of the vehicles, cars and trucks, have been used. I never bought a new one. My old Chevy truck hauled my hay, my 2001 Dodge Dakota quad cab took me everywhere until it died in flood waters.

Hubby had one just like it. Toughest truck ever made. That 318 went 368,000 and never needed a thing. And he used it for a work truck for 17 years.
I give him one week or less. to wrap himself around that big ass oak tree down the road !!!!! Now if you're lucky , he'll burn out that motor and will spend three summers working to repair the truck and hopefully learn a lesson about caring for his truck, not speeding , and getting into trouble.... 🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔😉😉

Great truck. The magnum was a great engine.
I had a fine Camero SS when we got married 49 years ago. After our first child I got a pickup truck to contract work as a 2nd job for more income. So this Southern working man has worn out 9 new pickup trucks on an average of 5.44 years and only have 14,000 miles on my 10th new truck. So, I would say most men in the south work and need, not necessarily want, but NEED a healthy pick up truck. By the way my wife drove the Camaro, and I still have my '70 Chevelle SS 454 LS6 paid 4,200 in '70; at every car show I am offered more than 100k. So, working with a pickup truck is a very good income; if you are working in the south for doctors, lawyers. and such that have moved here. For me I'll keep my trucks, my rental properties, interest and dividend incomes, investment lands, and the acreage we live on. We have been blessed to have owned our desks as we worked; our P/U.
