what most people don't understand is that most immigrants did come here legally on a visa after a certain amount of time those visas expire hence making you here illegal although you entered legally, also its very hard to become a legal US citizen it takes somtimes over a decade to actually get citizenship there's massive waiting lists most people will never get citizenship they dont make it easy for immigrants to get citzienship, mind you they pay a very large amount of taxes yearly billions in taxes to us yet they dont get tax returns for those taxes immigration is actually beneficial to the average american because we get the benefits of all those taxes they paid while they get nothing in return
