The safest way to stop an unmanned boat is to drag a line into the prop which will jam it up & stop it dead in the water ! Then you can safely approach & board it to attach a tow line.

Always attach the kill switch. When you fall overboard the boat will turn in a circle and you could get hit by the boat and chopped up by the prop. I know personally of a young Naval officer that did that to himself.

I would try to follow its pattern and meet it when it gets on the outside. if you can follow its circular pattern you can jump easier because youll be in its trajectory
