My Siamese cat taught herself to use the commode. I was shocked the first time I caught her doing it. After that, I always made sure I left the lid up 24/7 for her. She lived to be 21 years old.

If that were a male dog, the pee would be all over the floor bcuz they can't just squat like that to pee. It would be pointing up.
This is a cute video but the dog still needs to be walked for number 2 and exercise. Also, I can't help but feel having to clean that grate several times a day is just as time consuming as walking a dog. If they dont clean it often, that's pretty gross. Also, what about when humans want to go? They have to move the grate each time? Maybe if the house has several bathrooms but I still don't see this as being very convenient.
I had a cat a long time ago who also peed in the toilet. He did it himself. We never trained him to do it. He pooped in the litter box....in case you were wondering 😆

It was hilarious at first I had to leave the lid up 24/7 of course but I had to keep the door closed in the beginning until she’d meow to go into the bathroom because until she got good at it she usually fell in and back then the water level in toilet bowls was pretty high. I was afraid she’d drown. She didn’t she lived to be 18
