Uhm, when did the Marine Uniform Standard start allowing the long black fingernails? The hair is within specs (hair may touch but not fall below the collar) but the US Marines have high expectations of the women in uniform as much as the men. I just looked at my book from back then and it was definitely not permitted. Not practical for combat.
Whether she's truly a Marine or not, I know active duty women who wear nails on their off time.
