THE CEMETERY — HER BODY WAS BATHED AND PLACED IN A CEMETERY THE MURDER OF KEISHA MURRAY Jacksonville, Florida — July 7, 2013 On July 7, 2013, the body of 34-year-old Keisha Murray was discovered propped against a tree inside Restlawn Cemetery, located in the 2600 block of Ribault Scenic Drive in northwest Jacksonville, Florida. Investigators determined that Keisha had been bathed and dressed after her death. She was found wearing a yellow dress with a floral print. Authorities believe she was killed at a different location and later transported to the cemetery, where her body was intentionally placed. Keisha Murray was the mother of five children. At the time of her death, her family said she had been struggling with schizophrenia and had experienced a difficult past that included legal troubles. Despite those challenges, they said she was actively trying to rebuild her life. After Keisha’s homicide, her family fractured under the weight of grief. Her oldest daughter, Rakeisha, became homeless at the age of 16. “She was one of the most loving people in my life and I lost,” Rakeisha told reporters. “Staying with a lot of people, I felt like they were trying to get something out of me. I’m coming to you for help — there isn’t really much I can give.” Keisha Murray’s murder remains unsolved. No arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Keisha’s sister, Julia Clover, has since pursued a career in law enforcement
