If they smell weed, or see somebody with a drink on the premise, and the responsible person is only 17, they're good. Exigent circumstances allow them to act without a warrant.

people there's a reason why the cops are there.. someone called them and he probably has probable cause , that kid was chewing gum and from what the cop said there are multiple people there probably juveniles and they seem to be impaired / drinking. the cop once discovering they're all juveniles can definitely use discretion they probably can't go inside the house but regardless all the kids parents will have to be notified which means everyone will have to id themselves or prove they're of age
