most people from up North do have a little arrogance about them but that's just the way they have to be sometimes they have their troubles up north like we do down south but they eventually come around I was in the military I met a lot of people from a lot of places some people had it hard from where they came so that's just the way they have to be it's some people down south like that too it's more common now didn't used to be but that being said One Love to everyone

yes yes, I moved to Ohio from Indy and it was a shock to my system but in a GREAT WAY! I NEVER believed there was nice people, wholesome loving caring friendly non toxic people!! My 1st whole month everywhere I went people waved and smiled, the stores people are friendly and chatty! I cried everyday out and about! like what I feel like I went to another dimension. It still catches me off guard esp if I'm having a bad day, I'll go out on pourpose cause the wholesomeness resets me. At work it's like family. We hug , say I love you be safe help each other .. Im ina small village rural type area and couldn't be happier.

I am a New Yorker who just happened to move to the south and there is no way I’m going to wave at strangers… furthermore the southern hospitality that you guys think you have? I think that went out with your ancestors cause I ain’t seen no southern hospitality …I will absolutely not walk into anybody’s house and not speak. That’s just manners…. truth be told you got all kinds from all places. It’s not “where you at” anymore, It’s “where you’re from” and we do things differently and that is OK …however, as a native New Yorker, there’s no place like home. To me the upside difference is the cost of housing, the downside difference is in food, the difference in water, the million species of bugs and the pollen count.
You ain't got to worry about me coming down there ever!! ain't nothing to do down there but go waste half your time in the gazillion churches they have all over the place down there, eat hush puppies, and sweet potato pie while talking about dead people, spooks and hanks, I have family down there, I know all about it.

Northerners are welcome, just leave your Northern ways up there and bask in the ways of Southern Life!! You will notice a difference right away.
