Porch pirates attitude towards the home owners totally baffles my mind
From a strictly legal standpoint, even the worst porch pirate, if injured by a booby trap set by a landlord or tenant, 0can sue or press criminal charges. Probably assault. Should that also absolve the thief from prosecution for attempted theft? No, it shouldn't, but landlords and tenants should also know the law and consider potential legal repercussions before taking such preventative action.
