I threw a bunch of matches out that were strike anywhere from an outage kit from work and when the trash was picked up, he made it about a half a block and the firetruck had to come and put him out. Oops sorry

In mid nineteen sixties a local grocery store had a contest with a nice prize. A contestant was required to collect receipts and anything with the grocery store name printed on it. My mom got the brilliant idea of buying cheap matchbooks and cut the grocery store name off of them. She simply threw the matches in the trash. Only, when the trash service compacted the trash, the matches caught fire. The driver dumped the trash in front of our house. When i got off the bus after school, there was a smoldering pile of solid embarrassment. My brother was one of five winners of a trip to Disneyland.
