Prisoners and guards do eat the same food cooked by the prison unless the guards bring their own from home.
Those deportees oughta be damn thankful that they even have food and a place to lay their heads at night. I quit prison medical in 2016. They were doing 3 squares a day during the week M-F, and 2 squares a day on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday. I guess it’s still that way.

USA prisoners are lucky to be fed. In Southeast Asia, families must feed their relatives in jail. If you have no family to feed you, you will be lucky to get bread and water.

I have made mistakes and I have been in jail before a warm bologna sandwich for lunch with a bag of chips dinner was some goulash type of stuff and breakfast was a little bowl of cereal and a piece of fruit I'm not going to starve but I screwed up and I couldn't go get a steak dinner because I made a mistake what do you expect lone Star steakhouse or something
