The video never explains who died, when it happened, or how it happened. Showing three people and then a casket does not clearly tell a story. The viewer is forced to guess instead of being informed. The music choice adds confusion. “YMCA” is a fun, upbeat song commonly associated with gay male nightlife, not death or mourning. Using that song while showing a funeral creates mixed signals, not clarity. There is no context about the death: Were they drinking and driving? Was anyone intoxicated? Was it an accident? A medical emergency? Violence? Something completely unavoidable? These are reasonable questions, not accusations. Death shouldn’t be implied without explanation. The issue is not a lack of sympathy. The issue is poor storytelling. When a video relies on emotion instead of facts, the message becomes unclear.
