When I was 16, sixty years ago, I was walking down the sidewalk outside of an American Air base in Japan, with a guy friend. A man , in a suit, was walking on the sidewalk towards us. When he was passing us, he suddenly hit me square in the middle of my chest and just kept walking. My guy friend ,a schoolmate, invited him to come back , by insulting him in Japanese. The coward just kept walking. All these years later and I still wonder why that guy hit me? It did shock me and scare me. I’m just glad he did’t stab me!
