You’ve never lived if you haven’t stuck your little brother just about everywhere with one of these. We even made a cardboard helmet and layer armor that could get shot and not get poked. We eventually tore them apart through fierce hand to hand after the cardboard sword and shields were useless. Couldn’t see and were constantly getting cardboard cuts but it was the best time ever

Who didn’t do this? They used to sell us knives, samurai swords, blow guns, and ninja stars at the local swap meet when we were 7-8 years old. We had real weapons back in the 80s lol

oh we used to do this all the time and we even got to the point where we would color the tips with Crayola markers so that we made sure that we weren't lying about being hit

I would just dismantle pens to make them into attached a sowing needle to a juice box straw and use the body of the pen as a barrel to fire these things across class at targets as small as quarter even my teacher was impressed with the accuracy. in my defense I was framing weapons to fight the flies. lol

I actually did this as a kid it was awesome also the little paper hornets people would make and shoot them with rubber bands i made those out of paper clips
thats pretty standard behavior for young boys. we would also put needles or pins in the front of paper airplanes and run around chucking them at eachother. they would stick right in you and hang. this nerf thing is more boys being boys than anything else.
