Shocking a child is not okay. Walmart has several items under scrutiny in the USA like lingerie styled training bras for little girls so young they should still be in elementary school.

I don't think it's a bad idea. One way to keep an eye on your kids without having to run all over trying to find them. I'm sure the tiny little shock is more like a tickle.
