My mom and I spoke about how would I know if she was near me after she had passed ? What would be my “sign”? Jokingly I said send me gray feathers . I forgot all about that conversation until I broke my arm. I broke both bones in my forearm and was flown to a larger hospital. As they were putting me in the helicopter the on flight nurse said oh you have a feather in your hair …. That’s the first time I started crying. I knew my mom was with me. I still have the feathers . This is my lovely broken arm. I have plates and screws now 🤦♀️

One time, the day came where I had an event and just couldn't stop thinking about her, just really wishing she was still around and saddened because there wasn't a chance that I would see a rainbow that day, I picked up my phone to check the weather and what was the first picture I'd see, a double rainbow.
