Seems like some people are blaming the father. To me the instructions were simple. "Go to the store and get toilet paper, three rolls". His statement never said toilet tissue AND rolls as in bread. His son looks old enough to follow simple instructions. It's like giving a list. Toilet tissue (3 rolls) ketchup (1) bread (2 loaves) eggs (1 dozen) etc.. I showed my 11 yr old this and asked what did he do wrong. He said he's dumb why did he bring back bread (or rolls of bread) when clearly his father said 3 rolls of toilet tissue.
