First of all if your wood floors are sealed the way they are supposed to be sealed the water won't do anything. My grandma mopped her floors like this for years and never had a problem with warping at all.

I mop my floors like this all the time! easiest thing in the world! Just squeezes some soap on the floor them spray enough to soak then mop the entire floor then grap your bucket and start mopping it up! Way easier and faster!
