Looks good but that is a huge portion.
Not sure what that is but in the state I live in that would be illegal. You have to tell the customer the price if its not free.

I have never had a waiter stand beside me and leaves me to cut my own piece! Apart from ruining other portions to serve, no customer should handle a dessert that may be portioned into little pieces for other customers. AI

screw that waiter his responsibility is to make instructions clear and pricing clear if there is questions and I would say this is an ambiguous situation at the very best but yeah I agree with the other posters when they talk about how greed bites you in the butt, well I agree wholeheartedly but still this came off to me as the restaurants responsibility for clarity unless there's something I'm not seeing

I've never seen a cake offered in the states where you cut your own portion and pay by the weight.....and why did the lady need to cut such a big piece of cake anyway??? She was being more than greedy...if all of that was just for her....
