that's paper thin pipe and it looks to have very thin penetration. not a welder, it just doesn't look like it can do industrial pipe

with automated things it sounds great wrecks the economy no workers no money being spent things should get cheaper and if an automated system needs repairs goodluck waiting a tehcnician. cheaper to hire peopel unless theres bulk automaton concentrated.

I'm a welder now retired and I have seen a lot. But I was not a pipe welder. I've done structural steel fabricater and I have worked doing it all besides that. I've prefabricated a D10 Caterpillar blade to fit a D9. they have a older metal rope on them to raise and lower the blade. They had pony two cylinders on them that as starters. They will turn the Diesel Engine. it was a older set up trackers. I've been a machanic on them too. I was a Oiler for them on the jobs. They will have broken metal rope and I have to take the very hot cable out by hitting the wedge out and pull the cable or metal rope through and cut off the end and bend it into a hard thick cable and being hot it wasn't easy. jam the wedge in and beat it with a 5lbs. hand mall to get it covered with the rest of the cable. it would be a lot of extra to cover the end. it's a job that I have to do fast. it back then was more then $550.00 and hour. So it's fast work.

that's nice and all but who's gonna hold the plates together while it welds. that was welding a complete tube let's see how it does welding two separate pieces of tube.....
