Did this when the handle broke from a screaming hot tea kettle and I was 7 months pregnant with socks on. The paramedics had to make me walk cause of my pregnancy to lift me was a liability from inside the house I had to make it out luckily the floor cooled down I had to keep my other kids out the kitchen until they came. Hot liquid burns are extremely painful and just like him both my feet had both degrees of burns and being pregnant made cleaning wounds terrible cause everyone including my child’s father would not touch it over how bad it looked and the stages it takes.
