First of all dude that said men and women can’t be friends, is ignorant. Fred got picked to do the show Sanford and Son, while the producers were trying to cast the characters Redd said I have a friend Lawanda Page, she’s doing comedy, I have known her since high school. They said “no” we have someone else in mind. Redd said then count me out. They cast his longtime friend as Ester. Enough said!
