After my father's SUDDEN death, I was criticized for not crying at his viewing or funeral. People didn't understand is that it took me YEARS to process/fully accept that he was gone. My mind simply couldn't yet handle the trauma. Eventually those feelings HIT me like a train me & I cried for SO long I was hospitalized due to dehydration. Every since then tears fill my eyes when he crosses my mind. Our minds are unique dealing with death, loss, & heartache in their OWN way!
