But when you’re told by the police to stop it and are warned that you’ll get arrested if you don’t you do EXACTLY like he did and be passive. Take it to court. . Once you disobey an order given to you by police, you’re in a different realm. If you want to live, cooperate. If you want to risk death, resist. Simple. Clear. Don’t do it. It’s not worth it.
And the judge will then explain the First Amendment to the cop.

Violation of free speech amendment rights. Cops have been cussed ,given the finger...cases have been tossed from court because the US Supreme Court ruled that giving the finger or saying the F word is protected free speech.

Title 42 Section 1983 lawsuit. Automatic loss of qualified immunity for violating your constitutional rights. The officer then becomes personally liable. Plus, the department(s) become liable for the officers actions because he should have been properly trained. If it is multiple counties, the state becomes liable also. Federal lawsuit so it cannot just be dismissed or swept under the carpet.
