We rarely love each other with unconditional love. So we breed dogs to love us and to work with us. I have seen this type of unconditional commitment, love and devotion between my son and his autism service dog of 10 years. My son graduated high school six weeks after we were forced to put his service dog to sleep. He had gone to three years elementary, junior high and one year of high school before my son retired him. He would wait every day for him to come home from school. Before his service dog, he could not learn at school, sleep at night, spoke monotone and had melt downs over misunderstanding of other people. His dog reconnected him to our world. My son is now 23 living lives independently, drives and has a had a job for over 4 years. We have had many dogs that are pets but his dog understood that the difference between working and playing. His love for my son never changed even though he went from a nine year old boy to a 19 year old man. Thank you “Clyde”

Poor puppies.. Even though its a work environment when they emotionally attach to someone they don't understand that it is only work. And when their is a change of assignment they take it as being abandoned by their master and do not forget. Same issue with military dogs.. Sad.. 🤔

The doggie is smiling with his current handler. Then he sees his previous handler. It's all good! Lots of love. Dogs understand waaaaaaay more than you will ever know. They hear our thoughts. I can literally think of my lab and she will start whining if she is in the next room. 💕💕
