Dude..there is way more going on than her cooking...most wives would be tickled by the fact that their husband loves their food so much he keeps coming back...and there is no reason for her to be hungry, the food is right there...in fact, most times..the cook's appetite gets suppressed when they cook...and there is a keen dislike in her voice....again, there is something else going on
If a wife gets that worked up from having to cook two days in a row, you don't want that food....let her and her cooking go...because she can't stand you...there is no love left...if it was ever there to begin with....

You know, when l cook take as much as you want. I'm happy you like it. If we have leftovers, we have leftovers. My son usually takes those for dinner anyway, and we're happy that he has a cooked meal to take for dinner. This lady is pissed about something. 🤔

Waay too many people undervalue the time and energy it takes to put together a home cooked meal. Constant planning, prep and then cooking is not always a good time...then, the eaters make it disappear!!! Sometimes without any sign of appreciation. 🤔
It is so unpleasant when one or the other mate makes you feel like you have to walk on egg shells in your own place. I would never live with anyone that treated me like that. Or acted like that for that matter.

I think she is trying to get the kitchen cleaned back up because she needs to get some laundry going , help the kids with homework, walk the dog, make sure everyone is bathed/showered, bake cupcakes for a classroom party that her son just told her about. All of this plus more while her husband eats seconds while watching videos before he lays on the sofa to watch a game for the remainder of the evening.
