Some people like myself are built petite with a high metabolism. Certain conditions or their medication can cause a frail look in days. If you’re built like this and have a gluten intolerance or are a vegetarian, it can be very difficult to gain weight. She’s probably tired of people commenting on her diet and body. She’s always been tiny! She isn’t obligated to explain herself. If she was overweight people would say celebrate your body, big is beautiful, etc. it would be considered rude to comment on someone who is overweight. If she has lost some of her appetite it can be very difficult to maintain weight when you’re built like this. Even if she is eating enough. You don’t understand if you’ve never been petite or built small. It isn’t always what it seems.
