the cop has no legal rights to be in that vehicle whatsoever they don't have to be in it to read the VIN number it's right on the windshield driver side dash no reason at all to be in that vehicle plate or not abiding by the laws cop should be fined
Depending on where he's at, some places they can charge you with Failing to identify, and if the truck didn't have tags, they may have been looking for who it belonged to, it's iffy. But I just usually have no reason to not cooperate, and show them ID, and truck papers, it's easier than this.馃槀馃槀
