I help out in a lot of ways except for cleaning, not as much as I should (plan to do more of). You said something that really resonated with me and that was "she runs the emotional engine" of your family, so does mine when I think about. In addition to everything else she does, I need to be better, I need to do better, I will be better. Thanks for reminding me about being a partnership and doing my part and more than my part at times to help her out as much as I can. I love my wife more than air, I want her to be happy all the time.

I always believe it’s about a balance of who is best at what but as long as there is an equal balance then what’s the big deal? But also the man is the HEAD of the household and the man and woman have there own circle they don’t let anyone but God penetrate. I’m a dad of two little girls and let me tell you I’ve been an iron worker and mannnny other jobs but being a dad/mom is wayyyyy more difficult.

what's funny is the things that you name that you do around the house. like mow the lawn, car upkeep, whatever. those aren't daily chores. everything she does is daily. so the few things you mentioned that you do, do. or maybe monthly or less. so by all means yes you should be helping her other ways. it's not like you're really doing anything extra cuz you're not. she's still doing way more than you.

Don't get me wrong he is clean and wears clean clothes brushes his teeth. He can make the biggest mess in no time at all! Plus he doesn't have the concept of proper cleaning! We have been 14 years in September and I've finally realized that I can't change him however I love him with all all my heart!
